Do you know of any public archery ranges around I live in a pop-up community can't just go out back and shoot.

My cousin and I always have gone to Archery Country in Austin. Once you get drawn, you have several weeks to go take the test. When you pass, they give you a signed certificate that you take with you to the required orientation. Georgetown is actually one of the most expensive Public hunts out there. $25 to enter, $90 permit if you get drawn, $10-$20 to take the archery test, $70 for your hunting license super combo (which I know you're going to buy anyway). But, you get to hunt there all season, it's a lot cheaper than a lease, that's for sure. Good luck.
