Ultralight 28 Nosler from Alamo Precision?

Yep! This just happened Putting the finishing touches on a long range hunting rig for a fellow TBH'r. The goal was a 28 Nosler as light as we could get it, so here is where we ended up - as close to not breaking 6lbs as you can get!

    APR Custom
    28 Nosler
26" Proof Research Light Sendero 1-8 Twist
Threaded 5/8x24 w/ Pierce Titanium Muzzle Brake
Pierce Titanium Action w/ Titanium Bolt
    Titanium Recoil Lug
    Jewell HVR Trigger
    APR BDL Bottom Metal
    Manners EH3 Midnight Camo
    5lbs 15.9oz

    Thanks for looking,

Digging the specs, minus the brake type. I bet that gun is going to be fun one to carry and do some serious work! What was the total weight goal if you don't mind me asking.

                      I bet.

My 300rum with a break shooting 180s had some pop to it and it was around 9 3/4lb with glass

                        Oh yeah!

What are your thoughts on that Pierce action?

                        I've been considering using one.

                              Thanks gentlemen.

Mike - We've been waiting on parts for this build for about a year and ordered them based on what was available in the market at the time, and the expected lead times associated with them. Probably wouldn't go down that path again given the options available today.
