So I finished sanding last week or so, got some stain on there...which I hope I never have to do again....and sprayed some polycrylic somethin or other on tonight.

Guess I'll hang it this weekend...

I feel your pain[emoji51] I like the stained look. Might have to give it a try.

Looks great! I hate staining and painting. Started telling family I'll build anything, you paint it. I get less requests now. Wife always helps with our stuff... she hates it equally so I guess that's fair.

That's awesome! I can't even get someone to bid pouring a slab for me.

                          Dale,
How did you attach the 10 gauge knobs to the cabinet without screwing through the primer? Great job on the project!!

I filled them with epoxy, then screwed into the epoxy from the back after it dried. DO NOT DO THIS. The epoxy down in the bottom never really hardened...even after months, and what did harden didn't hold a screw that well. If I did it again I would fill them with JB weld or the like, or cut some wood plugs with a hole saw and gorilla glue them inside.

We need pics of the nicely sanded, fresh painted "love" swing hanging on the porch!
