    Dimmit county buck question

Any idea what a deer like this might finish out? Unfortunately, these pics were taken about thirty minutes after we filled this feeder and set the camera up. Shortly after this, a cow came by and knocked the **** camera to the ground and all I got were pics of quail feet and deer noses after that. Not very often you see a main frame 13 with 3 or 4 muley forks. Is he old or just in poor health?

**Yes I did reset the camera and it will NOT fall down this time!!

In two year, he could be a friggin' giant. He won't have the tine length this year. Nice buck though.

Looks poor. It has been dusty down there the past few weeks
Great character. Love to see him with a lot of protein in a year or two.
      Briscoe land?

He looks to be a 2yr or 3yr old max in those pics. Looks like the biting flies were giving him fits by the patches of new hair on the front of both hindquarters. Dang great looking young buck with a ton of typical points off the beam!

don't even think about shooting that buck, that deer could be well over 200" in 5 years

don't think he will finish much more this year, maybe 5" more growth max. That said, in 4 years he could finish 70" higher than he is now. Exceptional young animal!

I'm glad y'all are seeing young. I honestly hate aging this time of year. I have no recollection of this buck from last year and there were a lot of good deer at this location. There was a 2-3 yr old mainframe twelve at a feeder a mile from here but I went back and looked and that deer had a very clear white throat patch so I don't believe it is him. I'll circle back to this thread if I get new pictures next round.
