I would think so unless you are looking during the day

$1900 is about 1/10th the price of a good dog. That's not a bad idea.

Current NVGs use a light intesifier to amplify the light. They do not detect heat.

Military apps have thermal viewers that are the cats behind.

                Hey Krausejmk,

Thats an impressive looking dog. Is that a Lacy? If so, which breeder did you get it from?
                Sorry for going off topic!!

Thanks! she's a mutt, I found her a few years ago roaming the streets when she was about 1, best I can tell she is mainly lab with some sort of pit or boxer or something else mixed in because she is more muscular than any lab I have seen. Maybe she does have some lacy that would be sweet! She is also the sweetest dog ever, she comes to work with me everday and has never been a problem. and she LOVES to hunt and track.

Wouldn't work well early season... deer temps are too close to the air temp...

might work well up north though...

That's what I wasn't sure about. What is a normal deer temp?

Thanks! I get a lot of comments about her, She only weighs about 50 lbs too. I'm not too familiar with Lacy's but I'm going to go with that from now on, thanks!

thanks, but with these you can tell a big difference in just a few degrees, for instance I was messing with it during the summer prob 95 degrees out and it had no problem finding me 30 or so yards away.
