That is about the biggest I have seen. I usually don't want to raise trophy snakes, if it is brown it is down when it comes to snakes

I killed a 41" one two years ago. Big enough to make me research the state record which was 52" I believe.

In 60yrs of snake catching/killing I've killed just two that were over 3'. And no sprinklers were harmed.......

One here in Houston along White Oak Bayou, killed it with a rock. The other one was in grandmaw's chicken coop, Redwater Tx.

A friend of a friend killed one at the gate into their lease 10 or so years ago. Without the head it was 46 inches long. Stretched the better part of the way across his Tacoma tailgate. Henderson County.
