      Nice axis I've had the "click" moment myself except mi e was on a big 8 he looked directly at me after the click then up and over the hill found out a week later the neighbor shot him. Glad it came together for you

        This was my fear as well. You normally don't get a second chance on a mature animal

                            All measurements are by the 1/8th of an inch not sure why but that is the "official" way

                              Happened to my son yesterday morning. 40yds away and click! had to put one in the chamber while trying not to alert the 5 deer in front of us was tricky, but it all worked out just like you.
