Good luck to Riley! It is a long trip and lots of expenses so I hope that she takes their money. London Gorham is out there as well. I am not sure which barrel race she is competing. She is the Granddaughter of one of my best buddies so I try to keep up with her.

I am not actually Driving. Her mom and stepdad are and hauling the horses. Typically stop every 4 hrs or so and get them out and walk and stretch them. At 8 hours they go to the closet local rodeo arena. And turn them out and let them roll and stretch out. Ex has made calls ahead of time and has everything ready and scheduled for the horses time outs and overnight covered stalls accommodations.

I figured there would be some sort of plan in place. I know when my wife’s cousin went to Wyoming for the high school finals they stopped every 4-5 hours. Got to let them horses rest a little on a trip that long
