Ground blind dimensions for bow hunting.

    I would never build new less than 6x6 myself.....if I had one pre-built like a Krivoman which is a little less I could make due.....but 6x6 is perfect. Especially if you ever have your kids in the blind with you. You can also draw your bow without having to go diagonal or stick your arrow out the winder first!


    Skinny is a big old boy as am I ....we hunted together at my place in both my blinds and we were fine...


    Plus....plywood on a 6x6 make its easy. Basically one full 4' wide sheet and another 1/2 sheet on each side..

      a 6' cube, minimum.

      You might get away with 5' sides, if you don't have a stabilizer, and are willing to let part of your bow poke out the window.

      Seriously, sit in a chair, come to full draw. Have someone measure.

      Add 18 to 24" for maneuverability.

      Same for the cam.

      Measure from the floor to the top of your cam, and add at least 6". A foot would be better.
