What's the coldest weather you've hunted in?

My thermometer in my pop up blind showed 5° one morning when my then 6 or 7 year old son and I climbed in. This was in the panhandle.

Also before we knew about the greatness of Mr Buddy heaters.

        Kansas last year

Was 1 when we got in the truck wind chill was -10, that's cold for bow hunting. Even the deer were smart enough to stay in bed. Hung a stand at 3:00 AM that morning and it was 19 with a 20mph wind, was cold in that tree with jeans and a hoodie!

7 below for me on an IA Bowhunt. My hunting buddy takes the cake with a 25 below muzzleloader hunt in IA the next year.

Go every couple of years to northern Minnesota for late season deer and we normally call it off at -25 without wind chill. Draw and shoot your bow at -19 and listen to how much noise it makes

8 degrees on side of a hill in a tripod with about a 15mph north wind in my face and I had to break ice out of the seat to get in. Took me about an hour to realize that was dumb and to go back home. It was one of those mornings it got so cold over night even the deer weren't moving. That was in Menard, Tx about 16 years ago.

Below zero several times over the years in PA and Ohio. I absolutely hate the cold anymore though and o my best to fill my tags as early as possible.
