After 10 years of protein and food plots, I'm finally seeing some better quality low fence deer on our southeast texas place. It took putting over 1000 acres in field crop production to see a small increase in average antler size (about a 5" jump in our top end bucks.) The crops are for the cattle and harvesting for human consumption but the deer are definitely benefiting from it. Heck we may have a buck break 130" this year.
