Army patch ID help

Not good pictures but all I got. This is from a picture my dad sent my mom on one of his tours in Vietnam. He will not talk about it so I really don’t want to ask.

Definitely the 4th Infantry Division. Also known as "Ivy" or "Poison Ivy" as a play on the IV (Roman numerals for the number "4"). This is a historic outfit:

He will talk about it just not his part. He served for 33 years and very military.

My Senior Drill Sergeant in Basic had the 4th ID patch as a combat patch from Vietnam.
