Agree on the string wax. It doesn't melt in the little stick and I keep it in the garage.

That's a good idea. I will try that.

Of course it will. The inside of a vehicle can reach 170° in the summer. My garage and the ambient temp doesn't. The wax won't melt melt out if you use it on your FP's.

Lock tight has different strengths so does nail polish color matter, yes dumb joke.
Seriously what have worked for you?
Clear nail polish works the same as the Blue Loctite. The clear nail polish is way cheaper than Loctite. Nail polish would work fine for keeping your point secure. Personally I use string wax along with pliers, it drives me crazy to have nock points coming loose.

Like mentioned above, I have used clear nail polish for years mounting scopes and some other gunsmithing jobs. The clear nail polish holds great but will "break" loose with a little pressure.

Teflon tape or bar soap. Never had an issue with either one.

String wax. It won't melt out, if it did you wouldn't be able to keep it on a string.

I use nail polish. I find it irritating to have to snug up points all the time.

String wax will not melt under normal conditions. I’ve been using it for over 30 years to keep points from loosening.

Someone mentioned using o-rings. I use them with fixed blade broadheads to keep the blades aligned with my vanes.

Elmer’s school glue. I use it on cam mod screws here in my shop!

I wax my string and hang my bow in the sun all the time. Leave it there a few minutes and come back and the wax has melted nicely into the string. If string wax didn't melt in the heat I wouldn't have had to clean it out of my bow case when I left it sitting in the bed of my truck. If string wax didn't melt in the sun I wouldn't have had to scrape it out of the cup holder of my truck

Then maybe my string wax is inferior to yours.
