Just south of Hempstead
about a month ago, fairly early morning, I was traveling 159 between Hempstead heading to Bellville. Traffic was braking ahead, so I slowed down. Turned out, there were three large toms in the middle of the road, going around in a tight circle, full display and making that drumming noise--totally oblivious to the fact they had an audience. If I hadn't been driving, I would have taken a video. Coolest and craziest thing I have ever seen turkeys do.
