Had Texas Helles for the first time last week. Loved Community's IPA and this did not disappoint. Nice lighter beer that definitely hits the Summer spot.

I am trying my hand at making a salt and lime spiked and sparkling. Will see. The salt, lime, and a little sugar is in a different container until fermentation is complete then I will incorporate it just prior to bottling. Will keep you posted but I should end up with a semi sparkling drink at @ 10%

They are tapping a keg of that tomorrow at the local tap house. They say it is greatness fresh out of the keg I'm thinking I need to walk up and find out.

I poured this entire thing out. Literally tasted like **** smells. Quite possibly the worst beer I have ever tried.

Must have been a lemon batch cause I actually really like it. Its specifically lacto fermented towards the end of brewing, so might be a different flavor than your used to.

Me too. Haven't been able to find it in store, think it was a seasonal. Enjoying shiner's strawberry blonde seasonal, sounds girly but its a good summer beer haha.

I have had it a few times.
It does have a strong alcohol taste at 18%
However the hops are there.
