Have one just like it.
When we bought it as newlyweds, my wife insisted on trying it because she was going to help with mowing. It always started with a single pull and worked like a champ. It has been sitting, unused, for several years now as I use a zero turn in my country lawn.

I bought a Murray push mower from a crack head in Lubbock in 2001. I was moving crap into my house for college and just walked up and said... you need a lawn mower? 20 bucks. I said ok. It just quit in December of 2017 when the cable for the handle safety thing broke. I literally never serviced it, it sat outside... just would not die. And I was trying because I wanted a mower that was driven.

I bought a toro to replace it... we will see how that lasts.
