Been a while since I had that feeling as a kid waiting the day before Christmas to see what was going to unfold in front of me. But today is one of those days. Since the day she was born I dreamed of this day and now it is only hours away.
I've been blessed to have wonderful friends who allow me wonderful opportunities and treat me as family, and this year they ask if Lola wanted to try for a turkey!..... heck yea she does!!! We will be hunting in throckmorton on the same place where I guided my wife to her first bird almost 10 years ago. She has put in the trigger time and I feel she can make the shot within her range
