I wear them frequently and have no problem tying one. Wore one today.

Look into a zipper tie. They're pretty slick. Not quite as goofy as a clip-on, but they do the job effectively.

I can't. But have a funny tie story. Years ago friend of mine was interviewing for a job and he couldn't tie one either. He ask his cub mate at work if he knew how. This guy was a strange dude and 20yrs as a mortician previously. He told him he could do it but he would have to lay down on the desk to do it.

My dad taught me how to tie a tie when I was about 10. Every sunday when I was a kid, we'd get dressed for church in our suits, and I'd stand next to my dad in the mirror tying my tie. I never forgot how

But now I might wear a 2 or 3 times a year.
