they used to be a whole lot better before they remodeled the restaurant. I went to school with boys who now own it after it taking it over from their dad. I still like to eat there but it isn't near as good as it used to be.

              Mexican~abuelos
              Chinese~ kuos
              Macks is good.
Abuelos is good Tex Mex. So many better Mexican restaurants in Midland such as Manuels, Fabelas, Michaelas, Oscars, and Rio Grande Pollos Asados.
I'll have to give Kuos a try.

Oh and don't forget The Bar for a brunch and dang near all their food.

Wimberley Café on meat loaf Monday.

San Marcos has many. It can hang with the big cities easily.

                Herbert's
                Garcia's
                San Marcos BBQ
                Hays County BBQ
                Grins
                Plucker's

Sounds like you're from Amarillo? Can't forget 575 Pizzeria for the best pizza I've ever had, as well as an excellent beer and wine selection.

Not sure if it's as good as the Seymour version, but Rusty Spur has never let me down. The Seymour and Vernon locations are both under the same owner.
