Do y'all really believe that this is his M.O. or is that an excuse for playing down to the competition?
Leaving any team stick around with just a one score lead is dumb.

Last year we got up to good leads against OU (regular season) and GA. He then gets into protect mode on offense and quits attacking on defense and goes into prevent. At that point the opponent just marches the ball down the field and starts to comeback. We nearly lost the OU game and Georgia made the score a heck of a lot closer than it should have been.

There was even a article I read somewhere about Ehlinger and Herman getting into it last year at some point because Ehlinger wanted to go out and "step on their throats" and put the game away and Herman just wanted to play to not blow the game.

Edit: Herman has had a tendency to play down to competition but I'm referring to the more high profile games specifically.
