I hunted a buddies place for a week in Del Rio. Numerous encounters with illegals, not to mention 2 young girls playing volleyball around camp had one walk up to them, they knew to run inside but it still could have easily been worse. I enjoyed the hunting, but just couldn't enjoy myself due to constantly worrying about my family in other blinds. There are some dang good deer as well as aoudad in that area!

Thanks river rat, unfortunately I think he was shot this season. The four point he's always with has been at my feeders all the time now and he is nowhere to be seen. Hopefully I'm wrong and I can bring him back in during the off season.

I know he's not old but I say he is because I should have taken him at the beginning of the season like I had planned. Now he made it another year and most likely passed his genes so there will be more like him running around.

Yep. This was just two back backs full found on fence line adjacent to highway on our place.

Discarded weight and picked up the frame packs for weed.
