These turned out a little longer than I wanted but I figured I could always cut material off.

Really depends on his riding style. I preferred short shanks and with little offset but I turned my two out really well. I will tell you one thing he will forever cherish those!! Good job amigo!!

Fishing was off this morning but, that is why I took my bride out (so we can see the “pretty” water and marine life). I’ll head back out solo in a few hours to fish seriously!

Going to make the spur straps and put the Rowels on tomorrow.
Then he wants me to build him a drop barrel so he can learn to ride with his other arm.
