Do you have to have water already set up?

Yes. More like low lying areas that hold water

Make sure they don't want rights or access to it after its built.

Yeah, we looked into it years ago, and they wanted some access or hunting rights to it.
We decided to hire a dozer operator ourselves. Going to work on a new one this summer myself with a skid steer and a tractor and box blade.

This couldn’t be farther from the truth of DU’s mission and program. I have been a DU volunteer for 20 years, and have worked at headquarters for 2. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Buzz bait, the guys out of Richmond are awesome, they know how to design some really good duck holes. Ask them everything, they know their stuff.

I would like to ask them why they keep finding ways to hold all the duckies up north

And I also was a volunteer of DU from about 1996 to 2004. Same committee that went as high as number 7 in the state (the drake only banquet for awhile so if you've been around 20 you know who). Literally help start THE ONLY greenwing event in south texas. My son is a lifetime greenwing. I've attended 3 state conventions and one national.

I've seen it. No need to reach out. Heck, I'll drive you to a du project near chesterville that I shoveled levees on and never hunted.
