Scammers are everywhere

I get calls all the time with almost the same number as mine.
I never answer them because I have never seen another number like mine in 25 yrs

Had a guy on long range hunter try to scam me out of $1500 for a nightforce scope. Luckily another member sent me a PM and warned me that the guy was trying to sell him the same scope at the same time. After doing a little digging it looks like the guy has scammed a lot of people on there out of thousands of dollars. They have the cops involved now.

AT&T said they would be investigating. I also had an old lady call me from Olney, TX this evening wanting to know why I had called her twice today. I apologized and explained what was going on and warned her not to give out any personal information.

My wife said it happened to several people she knows today.

Got the same call from IRS about having me arrested.

These calls need to be made illegal some how. Specially the ones with fake numbers!!!

It's already illegal to scam. They are crooks...they don't care.

I got one yesterday on my work phone that as soon as I picked up it was a recording of a fast talking guy that said "one more thing, I have two email addresses for you. Which one should I use?"

I guess it was recording me so that they could get some email addresses.

If I get a call from a number I don't know, I dont answer it. If they really need to talk to me they will leave a message. If they don't, I dont really care who they were
