So it’s been a while since I posted on this. Last summer I finished putting in the floor, transom, and everything else. This week I ordered a mud motor kit from mud skipper - one of their twister kits. I put a 13hp Predator engine on it. Today I took it out for its first voyage.

It made 7.5 mph on the gps. It ain’t fast, but it will go skinny. I’ve a little more to do to it - including a blind.

I caught a lot of bass in a super skeeter back in the day. Thanks for sharing, I haven't seen one in a long time.

              Nice job!

Hey I realize this thread is almost 4 year's old, that i am new and that this is my first post here and so i apologize for dragging it back up, but I am in the process of building a mud/duck rig out of an old skeeter super myself. If you are still an active member I would love to chat with you about how yours ended up, mainly if you were able to achieve more speed out of it the 13

That's pretty sweet, pretty much the same type thing I'm going for but with a longtail. Thank you

Dang that brings back memories. I had one 25-ish years ago., front stick steer and it seemed the whole boat would flex in a tight turn. Good looking project!
