Got My Timber Rattler Prints From Onestringer

Got my Limbsation Timber Rattler snake skin prints in from Onestringer today. I like em.

They come with a very satin finish, but I put one coat of clear poly on them. All I had was gloss. I'll put a coat of satin on them later.

The pictures don't do them justice. Not even close.

It also makes the top limb of your bow look really jacked up!!!!!

Because they’re very illegal to kill. I believe they’re listed as either endangered or threatened. I have yet to see one in the wild. Would love to though.

They are definitely out in the Sam. I saw a fat one last May.

Just FYI, we are one of the few states where it’s illegal to kill them...haven’t checked in a while but I’m pretty sure it’s legal in Oklahoma and Arkansas among others. So they can be purchased legally BUT your point is valid and if I had them in my possession I would want a receipt showing that I purchased them legally. That said those onestringers look awesome and a snake or snakes didn’t die (and you don’t have to worry about proving you aren’t in possession of contraband)!

They look nice. If I had a bow that shot well and was ugly they would work great. Plus no work to prepare a skin etc. May try some of the copperhead ones.
I'm still gonna kill every rattler I can though..
