what feeder timers do you use ?

looking at getting some new timers that are wind proof and would like to here some of peoples favorites

Not sure how a timer can be windproof. The timer is an electronic device that tells the motor when to turn off/on. Can you please provide a little better description of what is going on?

If your walking about spinner plates, give the "Eliminator Plate" a look.

We use west Texas feeders timer , if your having trouble with wind and losing corn it’s probably a spinner plate issue, something you may consider checking on.
We’ve used west Texas feeder timers using the spin plates with swing door on it in panhandle area and had no issues with wind
They also sell the eliminator spin plate

Just pick up an all season feeder unit with the eliminator plate and be done with it. I beat around the bush a long time before I did and should have come strait to this conclusion.

Texas Hunter Products. Most of mine are twenty years old and still kicking ***. Gonna have to replace some solar panels though, they're getting pretty cloudy.

Also try raising your spinner plate up before dropping money on a new unit, it helps.
