    Retirement equals more work

It seems I just can’t stop making these chairs as projects, now it seems my family and friends either really like them or just using me or both! Either way I like keeping busy and don’t mind here’s a few painted ones and new design

Hope all is well in retirement brother. Chairs looking great. I don't think I have the patience to build those

All is as well as can be expected the wreck that retired me hurts still after 4 years, only been retired about 1.5 year. Kinda why I started making stuff to try and get some movement in my upper body, but when it hurts too bad I call it quits for the day, thanks for asking brother...

When my dad retired he did the same thing . Chairs , swings , glider swings , wishing wells , lighthouses, he did pretty good too . He is 73 now and finally got burned out .

Oh man that’s awesome ,a police officer that graduated from the academy a year after my dad did and I worked with along with my dad is still riding funeral escorts as a LEO and he’s about to turn 80 . He retired from full time and has a commission and does side work on his motorcycle.

How about a swivel rifle mount on 1 arm for unwanted guest.

Thought about that at the lease after a couple of cold ones, making a removable mount and mounting a 10/22 Gatling gun on the taller chairs footrest already have a hideaway cup holder

I'm sure you know the high end chairs with the good parts and hardware go for about $500 a pop.

Nice work. You should consider selling a few.

The ones I saw in rockport were made of a poly material and the tall chairs were around 450, I’m not good with selling things although many folks here and elsewhere have asked me to build them some, I bolt them together only screws used are for seat and back slats seat edges routered along with the arms and those are 2x8
