Mine is showing pending right now so they probably cashed it in the last 24hrs

I put in with 3 pts. I bet they received a lot more than the 800-900 applications they usually get because of the bowhunter education change. Small units to hunt this year will also hurt the draw odds since they will draw fewer names than when there is more acreage to hunt. Next year will be ridiculous and almost impossible to draw when TPWD takes over the draw.

Dang... did they drop the bowhunter education requirement?

Only for application, still have to be certified prior to the hunt

To my understanding, bowhunter ed and proficiency requirement will remain after state takes over drawing.

Just got nervous and checked with my wife-she said it cashed a week or so ago, whew.

Someone mentioned about timing of trips to makes deposits etc. Yours is prolly in that group. Good luck.
