Hunter Education

Anyone know where's the quickest/next Hunter ed class in N TX ?
My 13 yo nephews need to take it before August 15th, if possible.

Grand Prairie gun club has an awesome one.

It is a full day of learning and activities. They make it lots of fun.

It’s where I took my daughter, I had fun that day too.

I got mine through my Scout troop, the year it was required. 87, I think.

Just bite the bullet and get it over with now. No sense in putting off later what you can do now.

I dont believe a 13 yr old can take the online class. My son got to do the test online but still had to sit in a class for instruction.

Sounds like yours may be signed up for some TYHP opportunities? They require all hunters to have their HE completed prior to the hunt.

I don’t think you can do the online only at 13. I’m trying to find one for my stepson as well, it ain’t easy here in Amarillo!

I’m doing a free class July 28, but I doubt you want to drive to Houston for it!

I thought as a 13 y.o. you could do it online, but still have to take the field test somewhere. I could be wrong though. Either way, do a search and should be able to find out quick enough.
