Finally was able to close the deal on him. Disappeared during the rut but showed back up where I first got pics of him. This is first deer I've shot since losing my grandpa back in June, he was always the first person I would call after every sit didn't matter where I was hunting. It felt good sitting there after all the excitement settled down, and all you could see was big ol main beam sticking up above the grass through the thick thick fog. It sure felt like someone was looking down on me this morning, because LUCK played huge role in getting this buck on the ground. He's not the highest scoring buck I've killed but he does mean the most to me. Rough scored at 10pt 153-3/8" w/ 5-3/8" of abnormal points.
