              OP, I agree with the others, that it is a mature deer in the range of 5 1/2 years old.

                  OP, any other pics of him broadside? He looks like a skinny guy to me, but they usually are in the hill country. No older than 5.5 IMO in that picture.

                  Because I felt like I had an opinion to share and also have experience with hill country deer He's curious on the age, I asked to see pics on the hoof. I'll run my post by you next time though

                          Hard to tell from just one pic, and I am not a jaw expert.

                          It does look like an old face to me, but not enough information for me to be definitive.
