We nail em every year and this is a private charter. We bring food and drinks and basically live like Pirates offshore - nailing tuna and other species in the mix.
On a single trip, I nailed Yellowfin, Blackfin & BigEye tuna.
Last trip, swordfish around 200lbs as well as a 12ft squid, circled the boat at night....as the tuna were blowing up everywhere.
It gets absolutely JURASSIC - the power of these animals is simply unreal
Burnadell giving it hell! Glen behind Randy.
Doug with a fine BlackJack - he scratched this species off his bucket list last year.

Deadeye1 Congrats Solid AJ and Blackfin tuna trip! You can sink the boat with blackfin tuna, if the night time setup has them around. Blackfin will stage over 200 - 300 ft areas with Amberjack. The Yellowfin prefer over 1000ft of water and typically school around deep water floaters in 3000 - 9000ft of water. The Yellowfin trips are unique in that they require the longest run time as well as a couple of days to dial in floater location where the best concentrations of these fish are. Fall and early winter is the best time to target the larger yellowfin tuna with many of the fish size averages around 70 - 140 lbs.
