My friend Virgil Tonn made me 5 points several years ago that he wanted me to kill a deer with. They were 1 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" long and all were very close to 150 grains in weight. I killed a doe with one and the arrow went right through it and stuck in the ground just like it does with my other arrows. It did break in the ground though. I was shooting a 63# long bow that I built.
