My step dad who has had many ups and downs over the past 16 years, some of which I have posted on here, is finally getting a new heart!!!!

The doctors have passed on a number of hearts because they weren't the "right one" and now the right one is ready, they will harvest at around 5 this evening and then begin the process of putting it in him. Around 3 ish in the morning they should be done and he should be on the road to recovery.

May God Bless the donor and family and the surgeons hands tonight!!

As the husband of a wonderful woman in heart failure who won’t ever qualify for a new heart due to anatomy, I’m so happy for him and your family. I will be praying.
