Just using a hot melt made for installing screw point adapters.
Holds pretty good too. It's tearing the crap out of my broadhead target to pull it out, but it isn't loosening any.

I now have two of these Bad Boys built, sharpened, and arrow mounted. They are ready to rock when I get the chance.

Factory footed. Those are the factory outserts that come with them.
The shafts are Widowmaker Smash .300's out of Australia.

Best shafts I have ever used.

I never cease to be amazed at the ingenuity and creativity some people have and their ability to actually make the concept become a reality. I feel great when I put new batteries in a flashlight and it works.

Rick, I feel sure those heads would sell if you market them.

I would never have thought to "create" a broadhead. I'm curious what the quiver he builds to hold them will look like too.

very cool build, are you shooting them with the spitfire blade up and the main blade flat?

Thanks, and yep, that's exactly what I'm doing.

That upright spitfire blade is just like a front sight, and works great.

I just pulled out a couple of my standard broadheads, and stuck these in in place of them. They aren't completely covered, but there's enough hood over them to make them safe.

Leaving tonight, and going down south to the Martindale Ranch for 4 days of bowhunting.

For turkey, hogs, and whatever else might be on the agenda. Never know.

Or maybe I should be wishing the critters on Martindale Ranch good luck???
