Cats are like women, show it a little attention and it will find another guy to follow around. Throwing gravel and physical abuse will just make it want you more.

You can throw anything you want to at the cat....hit him with anything handy....but what ever you do DON'T KICK HIM...if you kick him he will I instinctively ball up on your foot and insert his claws into your leg....then the centrifugal force of your kick will slide him down your leg and off your foot...leaving behind the unmistakably bleeding claw marks.ask me how I know this..I still have scars...
