    Traditional FSC Week 6

Okay this is a Buff inspired challenge that will require a shot per day. Each day the distance will increase 5 yards.

First take a standard sheet of paper or a piece of cardboard and draw a 6" circle on it. Inside that circle make a second 4" circle. Inside that a 2" circle then black out the inside of the two inch circle.

If your arrow is in the 2" blacked out circle it's worth 5 points. Inside the 4" circle it's worth 3 points. Outer circle is worth 1 point. If the arrow breaks the edge of a circle score the higher score. Just rubs the line score the lower.

    Sunday's shot is 5 yards.
    Monday's shot is 10 yards.
    Tuesday's shot is 15 yards.
    Wednesday's shot is 20 yards.
    Thursday's shot is 25 yards.
    Friday's shot is 30 yards.
    Saturday's shot is 35 yards.

If you miss a day then you cannot make that day up. Move on to the shot of the day.
For example you don't get to shoot Sunday so Monday you shoot at 10 yards the so on through the week.

Kids start at 3 yards on Sunday and move up in increments of three yards each day.

On Saturday the high score for the week gets to choose who makes the call for next week. His/her self or the lowest total scoring shooter.

Good luck and get out there and shoot every day.

I'm trying to get into traditional shooting. I just got a recurve that hasn't been set up just yet, but I'm thinking about giving this a try.

DRT: Since this is a Buff inspired challenge on maxing out effective range, do we have to place target butt in front of our truck????

I'm getting better, but not there yet! I'd make a couple of holes for sure!

Few months back I got a plastic school compass at HEB for around $2. Kind of flexxy, but it works.

                              My target butt measures 4ft X 4ft.
