    A Texas Star Build

I want to build a Texas Star, so hear we go.

    This is what I want

So I pulled out some old lumber and ran it though the planner and jointer hit the table saw for length and with for the 10 outside, 10 middle, and 10 center pieces

Cut the angels on all the points of the outside, middle, and center

Ran a grove in the center star

Started putting some of the 30 pieces together, and yes I have a long way to go but I will get there. That is all for now, I will continue later this week hopefully

Well I made it come together, wanted to share the rest of the story. So the next step was to cut the inside angles on the center Star

Then the inside angles on the mid and outside star

Glue the center star together and the outside star together, put both together and you have a Texas Star made out of old wood that should have been in the trash can

This is a pic of the one I made out of good wood Center and Outside is Mesquite the middle is Maple

Wow. very neat. Did you have a pattern, or just start from scratch?
