The above post explains TDN % which is a huge factor. For 1,000 pounds of feed with a TDN of 65%, you are only getting 650 pounds of digestible feed to the deer. In comparison, a feed with an 80% TDN, will get you 800 pounds of digestible feed in 1,000 pounds fed...

Use that factor when calculating feed cost and the cheaper made feeds become less attractive to use.

Because of that, we use L&E and mix in some corn and roasted soybeans.

Antlermax 20% has given us great results.

Livengood has a store on the south side of San Antonio. 4647 Roosevelt Ave.

I have fed Livengood (I usually get it at Oasis in Uvalde), Antlermax, and Mummes Wildlife feed and another type I get in Del Rio (has a big buck on the bag .

The deer suck it all down, I personally don't feel it makes that much difference. But I'm just a guy hunting a low fence lease, not expecting a 200" deer.
