I've begun hanging a lot of stuff from the ceiling.

16" wide shelf about 2' from the ceiling. I wrapped my garage and shop. Holds a ton of little stuff and coolers.

I hang stuff up. In our little building, I ran a 2x4 across the top braces and put all our decorations on it then I tied our folding bag chairs up to the roof as well. Got stuff hanging on all the ways

I have a 4'x30' suspended loft at the back of my shop. It is CRAZY how much stuff I can get up there...

Mine is 7.5’ off the floor, 12’ long and 4’ wide. I used the 3” uprights and the trusses. I plan on doing this on the whole back 1/2 of the shop to free up floor space in my shop that’s 24x24. This pic is on one side 1/2 if that makes sense.

Yes sir I have the similar ones from lowes in my other 24x24 building. Can stack a lot on those.

ANY shelves or cabinets will help. If you try to put everything on a work bench, it gets cluttered really quick. Two of my recent storage devices are a 12' tall Home Depot style wood rack and 6 huge (36"wide) file cabinets. Putting stuff in the file cabinet drawers keeps it out of view, and organized. Well, one day it'll be organized.
