      I wear mine year around. Only thing that keeps the dog pear out of your feet.

        If I am in the brush down south, they stay on year round. Up in the panhandle, I will stop wearing them when the night time temps consistently drop below 40.

          I pretty much wear mine year round unless I'm hunting in Arkansas and I don't expect the temp to get over 45 degrees.
