150 class 8 point...?

This is a friend of mines buck that grossed in the upper 170's on his 8pt frame. He had a short less than 2" G4 that got him.

Here's one a member killed on our lease in 2015.
We have been watching this buck since 2012.
I named him HighRack in 2014.
He has always been an 8pt but was making decent jumps every year. We were just hoping he would get to 140" at some time.
He was a teens deer in 2013 at best. 2014 he was in the upper 120's area. And he blew up in 2015 at 7.5 years old.

We scored him at camp at 151 3/8".
He was officially scored for Texas Big Game Awards at
151 2/8".
Heck of a buck. We are very proud of this joker.

Got lucky and killed a pretty good one a couple of years ago. Had a small G4 that just barely made him a 9 that he waited until the last minute to put on the end of his mainbeam. 162" even when scored as an 8.....

Almost made 150", but since he was from Nacogdoches county in east Texas, that should be close enough. He scored 148 0/8".

Feed from the cattleman's association Piedras Negras. Bag doesn't even have a name on it.20% protein. Most of the feeds have essentially the same ingredients just different marketing. That said , you can add formulas that increase quality if you are willing to pay the price.

I have killed three 8s over 150. All free range Houston Co. Here are the two I have on this puter. Also the numbers on Cripple Horn. First is a rifle kill named Traveler at 152 4/8 . Second is an archery kill named Cripple Horn at 153 7/8.
