                    Those were considered but we wanted taller windows. Also we were concerned about rain drip from that type of window onto the wood. We might go back and get plexiglass cut to size and have then in channels to slide side to side or swing inside. Either way we will keep the tin shutters for maximum protection in the elements.

                            They can pretty much make the Windows any size you want. Just put some drip molding above them and you won't get any water in them.

                            I'll never use home brew windows of any type after having real windows.
