    I didn’t do the MT spring. I did a different one. But yes, I do a drop test on every one of my rifles when I do any adjustment to the trigger.

        I think the Tikka triggers are good for a rifle I paid $500 for new. Mountain Tactical’s page with the spring pretty much says they looked at selling an upgraded trigger but didn’t find anything wrong except lowering the trigger’s weight.
        I’d never ever not test one. I hunt with most of my triggers set at 1 pound. Hence why I don’t like this trigger lol. And I make sure anyone who uses my gun dry fires it several times so they understand what they are working with. I’ve had a gun slam fire due to a bad trigger job. Never again.

          Installed the mountain tactical spring and adjusted to 1.5 lbs. Easy
