That's awesome! I wish snook were more prevalent in Texas. All it took was to see one monster inhale my fly and they instantly jumped up into one of my favorite fish.

Headed back to the Amazon first week of November for 6 days of peacock bass fishing and one day of mission work. Total cost including airfare $4,200. Probably too late to get all your shots, but if your interested for next year drop me a pm, or I can see if there are any open spots for this year.

                Which outfitter are you using.
Do they supply all gear including lures.

I am going with Amazon Outreach, on their Fishin Mission. We bring our own gear.

Do you you fly into Manaus and then on a prop plane to Barcelous.

If you have free time in Manaus check out the market. We stayed one night each way at the Tropical Manaus. Decent hotel.
Close to the beach and has a small zoo onsite.

The wife and I went to Ft Lauderdale over Labor Day weekend and fished with Captain Kevin Cannon of Peacock Bass Adventures as well. He is a super nice guy and put us on the fish.
