Update:

Max has stabilized! My friend is amazed. He talked to Max. I told him about this thread, as well as mobilizing all my siblings and their respective prayer groups, plus my son and his baseball teammates.

When Max was admitted, he was in shock with BP of 70/40 and 130 heartrate. I'm not a doctor, but "stabilized" sounds a lot better than that.
