I hunted in Bronson in Sabine County. Didnt see a single buck and only saw a couple doe. Wasnt out much this year because of work but we didnt even have alot hitting the cameras. Had a TON of hogs though.

We have never had a year this bad (and that goes back to 1968) 1 buck, 1 doe, and 1 pig. This is on a 1300 acre lease. Too many acorns and a pack of dogs running our roads (12-15). Deer started hitting feeders and food plots ( at night) at the end of Dec. Now a lot of pictures bucks and does.

This is a buck I was after all season that I spotted in velvet back in August while hog hunting.

          Nice deer!!!

From what I understand the lunar phases this year were crazy and that could have caused the deer to go nocturnal. Just speculation though. I havent discussed it with any of the deer yet. Lol

I saw maybe 5 deer all season long in Smith Co. Had a few day time pictures on trail camera but 95% were at night.

                              Nat Forest too

I hunt NF too up on the Clev side and I hunted 25 times and did not see a thing. I was bow hunting all the time-I sure learned a lot but it sucked not sticking anything.

I have acorns everywhere. Corn was growing under feeders. Lots of small bucks and very few does here in Harris county
