My brother did this in Indiana. He made sure to insulate it very well & heats all winter with just a pot belly stove.

Alright guys, sorry for going MIA on yall. I was kind of put out by this whole process, plus the fact that it was raining every day and I couldn't get anything done on the house. With the break in rain, Im back at it. Finally got a road in to my place. Took the day off and borrowed a skidsteer from a buddy. Ill need one more load to finish it, but at least I can get in and out of the place. After getting the road in, I was able to move a travel trailer out there. This has been great so far, as I can work on the house every afternoon till dark. Since I am so far behind on the build, I subbed out the top end plumbing. Was a big, tough expense, but it was done in 3 days as opposed to me taking several weeks. I started wiring the house as soon as he finished, and should be done in 1-2 more days. Ill have my electrician buddy help me tie it all in at the box, and make sure I didnt make a goof on anything. I purchased my AC unit and air handler last weekend, and my AC buddy made it out Saturday to help a little. We got the handler in the attic, and the copper tubing lined out. He's going to finish making the ducts, then we'll set those and the unit. I sure hope to have the AC and wiring done by this weekend. I'll then be able to give our spray insulation guy the green lights, and start lining out a drywall guy. Also, we have a guy building us some custom pecan cabinets. He will be starting within the next day or so, and should have them ready soon after drywall is done. Things are finally starting to look up!
