    Lightning Deal Alert

The VG15S light just went on "Lightning Deal" for $17.39.

Glad you like them. The company has deals every once in a while, so I'm sure they'll have some other specials soon. I've always been very pleased with my Thorfire stuff.

anyone have any experience with this Anker light? Amazon has it rated #1. Trying to decide between it or one of the ThorFires.

Bringing this old thread up. Need a new flashlight!

Looks like ThorFire is dead and gone at least on Amazon

I bought 3 of those Thorfire to try out and I was sorely disappointed. They all died easily and ate batteries. Spend a bit more and get a GOOD light. Fenix PD25 has been my go to light for about 4 years. Carry it all day every day, and I can’t kill it. About to order the PD25R which is the same size but upgraded a little.

I puchased a thorfire c82 and 2 18650 tenergy batteries and charger in 2017 after
BOW VISTA'S recomendation. Light and 2 batteries still working great after 5 YEARS.
Too bad the Thorfires are not availble any more.Highly recommend the tenergy 3500mah 18650 batteries and charger if still available.

I killed 2 of the 3 Thorfire, and lost one. By killed I mean they weren’t reliable anymore. Sometimes they’d turn on, and sometimes they wouldn’t. Swapped new batteries around and it wouldn’t matter, but the new batteries worked in my other lights. Here’s the PD25 I replaced it with when new, and still 3+ years later (I thought it was 4) it’s rocking along great. Gets treated like a red headed step child daily, and it’s only $60.

I use coast. They are reasonably priced and dependable.
